Supercar Saturday

Castle Combe was the destination of choice for Saturday, providing passenger rides starting from £20 for 5 laps all for a great cause.  The event was run by The Stroke Assocation and a huge line-up was organised to appeal to all tastes!  The full event details can be found here, which also lists all the cars that were there - it will hopefully be updated soon with the pictures!

2011 Mini Miglia Champion, Endaf Owens was there as well as Jim Lyons with his crazy 16v turbo'd mini!! Endaf didn't have his race winning car/engine but was still rapid.  The Miglia he drove on the day is for sale so you should contact him for details if you are interested - register any interest on the mini7 facebook page -

I hadn't been in a Mig before so decided to brave a ride with Endaf! Totally different experience to my Se7en, as expected - of course with more power but it just sticks, sticks, and sticks some more, thanks to the Dunlop slicks.  Great fun, it just made me even more impatient to get out in mine again :-)

Great, day, great weather and all for a great cause - well done to Endaf and Jim of and of course to the Proctor's for handing out a load more mini7 leaflets :-)
